The HAND-i-FILLER is a semi-automatic machine that can be used for filling flats, shuttle packs, and even most baskets and plug trays* with soil. It’s great for small operations that need to step up from manual filling, but can’t justify the cost of a fully automatic machine. To use the machine, simply adjust the guides to the proper width and the conveyor to the proper height for your container, fill the hopper with soil, and push your containers through. The soil flows from the vibrator-assisted hopper into your containers as you push them over the roller conveyor through the machine. The HAND-i-FILLER is designed to minimize excess soil falling off from the containers. Most of the soil that falls off from the conveyor is collected in two bins underneath the conveyor which then can be emptied back into the hopper.

-Portability: It can be easily transported with a fork lift with built in fork pockets. It can easily be wheeled around on hard surfaces with the included locking casters.
-Speed is really up to the operator, but rates in excess of 700 flat per hour are achievable.
